About Me

My name is Archit and I'm a computer geek. I love playing PC games and tinkering with computers. I have learned a lot from online resources and I'm writing this blog to share my knowledge with people. I hope I'll be able to help people in solving a myriad of CTFS'. Also I'm always ready to be a part of a team taking part in online CTF competitions. Just let me know if you need me as a member or we could create a team of our own.

Who am I ?

Hello my fellow pentesters. My story starts with diving into the world of linux in my high school and then paving my way to cyber security. I took several courses and started doing CTFS' for practice. But I found that it is very easy to find questions compared to finding answers in case I'm stuck. It's said that in desperate times of need you either wait for a hero to come and save you or you either become one. So this is my attempt to help people whenever they get stuck in CTFS'. I'm not very good at this but I promise to become better and share my knowledge for the greater good.

I have recently completed my graduate from SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai and planning for further studies. Although this pandemic has ruined it as of now. But I know I'll make it soon.

What do I do ?

I play a lot of PC games and would love to play some more but don't have a capable system. Maybe one day I'll get one. This blog is actually my step towards it. So let me know if you're up for a donation. Even a single buck would be a big help to me. And then some day I finally not just get one but EARN ONE.

Krypton Walkthrough

Krypton Walkthrough Level 1 >> Level 2 Level 2 >> Level 3 Level 3 >> Level 4 Level 4 >> Level 5 Level 5 >> Level 6 Level 6 >> Level 7 Level 1 >> Level 2 Hint Read the question carefully. Solution 1. SSH into the server with username as krypton1 and password as KRYPTONISGREAT $ ssh krypton1@krypton.labs.overthewire.org -p 2231 2. The next step is to find the file upon which we'll be practising. This information is provided in the previous level. So lets hop onto the location. $ cd /krypton/ $ ls $ cd krypton1 3. Reading the README file gives us the answer to try skipping that and directly cat the other file $ cat krypton2 OUTPUT: YRIRY GJB CNFFJBEQ EBGGRA 4. With practice you'll be able to recognize this cipher. Also you can use an online service called boxentriq for recognizing the cipher. It'll also help you in breaking it. As of now the cipher is rot13 which is a caesar cipher with key as 13. The way rot13 works is that it adds 13...
